As part of the government’s initiative to provide households with canned tuna for the blessed month of Ramadan 1447, the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) will begin distribution starting tonight.

Canned tuna cases will be distributed from 15 locations across the Greater Malé Area, including 8 locations in Malé, 6 in Hulhumalé, and 1 in Villimale.

The MIFCO Head Office is one of the designated distribution points in Malé. Distribution at this site is scheduled from 8:00 PM to 11:00 PM every night, except Fridays, starting tonight. The distribution will continue under the current arrangements until the 11th of next month.

MIFCO has set up special arrangements at its Head Office to facilitate smooth distribution. Staff will also provide assistance regarding registration and resolving any issues encountered during the registration process.

To ensure residents can receive their tuna cases without queuing, the government has established a dedicated registration portal. Distribution will be managed through registration on this portal, which is accessible at roadhahadhiya.mv.
