In preparation for the holy month of Ramadan, the Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has conducted an islamic information session for its employees.

The session, held under the theme “Marhaba Ramadan” (Welcome Ramadan), took place at the MIFCO Head Office. Conducted in collaboration with the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, the session was facilitated by Sheikh Hassan Thaufeeq.

During the session, information was shared regarding preparing for Ramadan, the significance of the month, the jurisprudence (Fiqh) and rulings related to fasting, the conduct and ethics of a fasting person, and how to maintain good deeds after the month of Ramadan.

The objective of this activity is to provide employees with essential religious knowledge as they approach the holy month of Ramadan, and to encourage them to begin the month of worship with spiritual rejuvenation and sincerity.
