MIFCO Launches Corporate T-Shirt to Strengthen Staff Identity

The Maldives Industrial Fisheries Company (MIFCO) has officially launched its corporate t-shirt, marking a new initiative to promote staff identity and engagement.

The t-shirt was unveiled during a special ceremony held today alongside a Mahefun (traditional feast) to welcome the month of Ramadan. MIFCO’s CEO, Brigadier General (Retd.) Farhath Shaheer, officially launched the t-shirt during the event.

The design was selected through an internal competition open to all employees. The winning design, submitted by Mohamed Haidhar, Deputy Manager of the Engineering and Projects Department, earned him a prize of MVR 5,000 in recognition of his contribution.

During the ceremony, certificates of appreciation were also presented to employees who participated in the production and distribution of canned fish cases provided by the government as Ramadan gifts. In addition, an employee was recognized with a certificate for demonstrating exceptional honesty, integrity, and strong moral character in the workplace.
